Music began as a curiosity for me but later became a passion. It allowed me to express myself and feel emotions created by people who lived, in some cases, hundreds of years ago in countries that no longer exist. Music is the universal language, without which my life would be much less fulfilling. Beyond personal and emotional fulfillment, taking music lessons has been shown to correlate with stronger academic performance. I cannot stress enough the need for quality music education.
