The music world exists because of people who want to spread humanity, and this can be seen from all angles — from that of a performer, a listener, a teacher, and a student. I listen to music for different reasons: to be mentally stimulated, to relax, and often, to find a connection to something larger. Music brings people together, and humankind needs these connections in an increasingly tumultuous world. Some of my closest connections are from the musical world, and I believe in passing on the gift of music to all who need it.
